Songwriting as a Musical Keynote or Team Building Workshop

Bring energy and positive emotion to your next event with a song-writing keynote. In addition to thinking differently, Daniel's keynote will get the audience feeling differently. This creative keynote gets people to tap into their emotions and is a catalyst for the success that follows. This program and the content are relative. Daniel ties the music to the message that relates to your company, your organization, and your conference goals.

You want, you need, your organization to be innovative to surface and thrive. Learn how to create something new, change something, and how to come up with new ideas that are fresh. Daniel demystifies the creative process and offers attendees actionably ways to become more creative and expressive. You don’t have to be musical to feel comfortable and participate. This program teaches collaboration and teamwork.

Takeaway: Your song. The program ends with everyone singing the song they helped create. Your song will be recored and available as an MP3 shortly after the presentation. We’re all tired of boring keynotes. Daniel's presentation is highly interactive. You’ll be entertained but you’ll be part of the entertainment as attended collaborate to create a song together.

How it Works

We begin with an entertaining musical performance and spoken introduction. This sets the stage, provides context and warms everyone up.

After the introduction, a fun, guided session, leads your team or organization through conversation that evolves into lyric ideas and lyrics that become your original song. When the song is complete members have the opportunity to sing it. But there’s never pressure to perform.

Daniel exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful experience and intend to hire Daniel for future events.” - Glenn Fellman, Executive Director, IAQA

Songwriting can be used to solve a problem.

A good song begins with a title. The first step is to be able to clearly know WHY you are writing the song, a story that’s significant enough for you to want to sing it. Knowing why keeps you on track when you develop the HOW. The verses are where you tell where you are at, where you want to go, and how you’re going to get there. What happens when you do? What happens if you don’t.

Songwriting makes use of creative tools to come up with innovative ideas.

It’s been said that a good song comes from the heart, not the head. It’s actually a combination of the two. The heart might come up with a good idea - the head figures out how to work it in to your story, your song. At the end of the program you have more than a song - you will have a road map to get you from where you are to where you want to be. Your song will remind you how you are going to get there.

Songwriting is fun!

If this sounds scary, it’s not! You’ll be part of a group and you’ll be proud of what you’ve done. You’ll be led by an amazing songwriter performer who will give you confidence and make you feel comfortable. You’ll go way beyond comfortable; you’ll be totally engaged. We’re always amazed at the energy teams bring to their performances.
